OP:BLACK JACK 2025: from 2020 the country has been ravaged by a virtually uncontrollable pandemic, the government has introduced marshal law and only those areas under the control of the government and complying with a new tyrannical regime actively receive the government controlled medication (CDV-25) required to survive. Throughout the country small pockets of resistance to the government dictatorship exist but many fade away with a lack of available medication, one settlement of resistance the small town of Gore Cross has become a major concern, the town has become a magnet to those opposing the government and the home of Freedom fighters in the south of the country. But Gore Cross has a dark side, the reason for its survival and a pain to the Government is due to it being the territory of the “Black Jack “ gang a merciless group made up from ex Military and security forces opposed to the government regime, often ambushing any government forces that come close to the town and repeatedly hijacking the government convoys of medical supplies crossing the region, although they supply the town with the vital medication it needed for survival, this comes at a price and punishment is deadly if the price is not paid. As the towns population increases and the threat of government forces mounting an armed attack increase, the town has formed its own militia the Gore Cross Militia (GMC)with the goal to firstly prevent Gore Cross falling to government control and secondly become the towns interface to the Black Jack’s
